Another successful outdoor session at Stillingfleet Lodge Gardens at the end of May. The weather was fair and it is a stunning place to enjoy an en plein air painting day. The planting, peace and atmosphere is lovely and we get the place to ourselves for the day.
This workshop is about mixing the simple elements of charcoal and watercolour to achieve a feeling of the scene and enhance the sense of being there.
There is a stunning little pond that has such a variety of textures to go at.
Some participants work.
All in all a great place to be, experiment with media and enjoy the resident animals (cat below).
