Just a couple of miles south of Staithes is an old mining pot of Port Mulgrave. This a little gem of a spot with a handful of huts that are fishing huts and about 5 residential ones. The story is if you can carry the materials down the cliff path you are allowed to build yourself a residency. There is not a lot of space left to build but the thought of it did get Chuck very excited about the idea. The edge was taken off this after climbing back up with the need of three stops. It was a great place to draw from with some dramatic coloured cliffs and a sense of time had stood still here.
