A couple of weeks ago Cath brought in a microscope. It seemed a good idea to try alongside the work done on edges.
Cath looked at the edges of ptorn paper and a small dried plant.
This process proved interesting but quite do but quite tricky and tiring. You can probably only dop about 15 minutes at a time before you need to stretch your neck and rest your eyes. Some young uns might argue with that.
Cath also brouht in a very beautiful remains of a poppy seed head.
This was easier to draw without the microscope, though Jon tried on Thursday and did a close up.
What came over very well was the coarse nature of the surface of the structure. This was achieved doing a lot of work with the rubber. Jon did agree it was tricky and to keep his spirits up he emblazened his work with his favourite biscuit manufacturer.
