I had a very enjoyable day working with the Leven Art Society in Stokesly. They are a well established group since 1970 and have grown from 40 to over a hundred members.
My workshop was based on landscapes working with charcoal, acrylic with pva glue. The group are booked in to show at the Inspired by gallery at The North Yorkshire Moors National Park Centre at Danby.
The idea was to have a looser approach to the subject of landscape. Many members said that it was contrary to how they would normally work but that said everyone got stuck in and I think for some it was a fresh change of approach.
There was some excellent work produced within the session and the group were a pleasure to work with.
